In reference to the homicide that occurred in the Southern District on Dec. 10, investigators have arrested 22-year-old Devin Shadle of Baltimore.
Shadle was arrested in connection to the murder of 19-year-old Davon Smallwood, who was fatally shot while on the 1900 block of Harman Avenue.
On Dec. 10, a few hours after the homicide, Shadle was arrested while on the 2500 block of Washington Boulevard. Officers transported him to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with murder.
Just over eight months ago, on April 28, insufficient witness testimony led a Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge to dismiss all charges against Shadle in connection to a separate non-fatal shooting incident from last June. Shadle initially faced 13 charges in connection to the incident, which reportedly involved an armed robbery attempt on the 1800 block of Desoto Road.
