Male Victim Dies after Shooting on The Alemada

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) located a unidentified male victim suffering from a gunshot wound on the 4800 block of The Alameda after 9:52 p.m. on May 13.

The victim, who was later identified as 21-year-old Da’wan Amin James, was taken to an area hospital. James died from his injuries on May 14, according to a news release from the department.

Northern District detectives are investigating the incident and ask that anyone with information call 410-396-2455. Those who wish to remain anonymous may utilize the Metro Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-866-7LOCKUP.
