Lauretta Avenue Shooting Victim Dies

On July 10, at approximately 1:18 a.m., Western District patrol officers responded to the 2500 block of Lauretta Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located 21-year-old Taron Whiting suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced the victim deceased.
