June Non-Fatal Shooting Occurred in Anne Arundel County, Police Report

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced an update regarding a previously reported shooting incident.

The following shooting has been reclassified as out-of-jurisdiction after investigators determined it occurred in Anne Arundel County. Consequently, the case has been removed from the yearly non-fatal shooting count.

On June 16, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to an area hospital following a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers located a 19-year-old male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The location of the shooting was unknown at the time.
