During a Nov. 14 reception court proceeding, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn presided over parties as they set a trial date for a man accused of perpetrating a nonfatal shooting.

Keith Hill, 30, is charged with first-degree and second-degree assault and use of a firearm during a violent felony in connection to an incident on Feb. 2, 2022.

At Monday’s hearing, parties worked together to schedule a trial date, for which they estimated would take two days.

The prosecutor informed Judge Phinn that he anticipates six witnesses to testify at the trial.

Parties agreed on Feb. 2, 2023, as their trial date, projecting matters to close on Feb. 3.
