Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland rescheduled a trial for an attempted murder defendant to February 2025 in a Nov. 4 hearing.
Michael Armstrong, 28, is charged with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, two counts of possessing a firearm with a felony conviction, two counts of illegal possession of ammunition, having a handgun on his person, having a loaded handgun on his person, reckless endangerment and firing a gun in Baltimore City in connection to an incident on Feb.19.
On Nov. 1,, Armstrong’s defense attorney Augustine Okeke, filed motions to suppress, which were denied by Judge Anthony Vittoria. After denying the motions, Judge Vittoria sent the case back to reception court for a new court date. Armstrong’s original trial date was on Oct. 3.
Judge Copeland set the new trial date for Feb. 11, 2025.
