Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland reset a homicide defendant’s pre-trial conference in reception court on Dec. 9.

Johnnie Teague, 52, is charged with first- and second-degree murder, first-degree abuse for the death of a child over the age of 13, first-degree child abuse causing severe physical injury, second-degree abuse of a child in his custody, second-degree abuse of a child within his household, first- and second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.

Defense attorney Andre Mahasa and the prosecution said they hope to settle a trial date soon.

The pre-trial conference will be reset to Dec. 10 with Judge Copeland presiding.
