Dwayne Drake was charged with violating his probation following his conviction of second-degree murder in 2006 as a juvenile. He was released in 2018.
This violation occurred when Drake pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in April in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court.
Judge Karen Friedman said she had not presided over Drake’s cases before; therefore, she ordered for him to have a new drug and alcohol assessment.
For violating his probation, Drake must now participate in a program that offers help to offenders trying to reintegrate back into society, including job training and other issues.
