Johnston Square Shooting Takes 31-Year-Old Woman’s Life

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Central District.

On March 18, at approximately 5:56 p.m., Central District patrol officers responded to the 700 block of East Preston Street to investigate a reported shooting incident.

Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.
