Investigation Underway in Fatal Cyclist-Involved Crash

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a fatal cyclist-involved crash in the Central District.

On July 4, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Ensor Street for a cyclist-involved accident. Upon arrival, officers located a 58-year-old male cyclist who was struck by a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced deceased by hospital staff.

The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) was notified and responded to the scene.
