Investigation Begins in Southern District Shooting

On March 3, at approximately 4:38 a.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a shooting victim.

Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the hospital and observed a 48-year-old female being treated by medical personnel, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 

The victim informed officers that she was shot while on the 800 block of Bethune Road.

Southern District Shooting Detectives assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southern District Detectives, at 410-396-2499.
