Investigation Begins in Non-Fatal Shooting of Teenage Boys


On Sept. 15, at approximately 9:54 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the intersection of S. Central Street and Fleet Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed two 16-year-old males suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. One male’s injury could possibly be a graze wound. Medics transported the victims to an area hospital to receive treatment for their injuries. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred on the 1000 block of Granby Street.

Central District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
