On March 30, at approximately 9:50 p.m., Central District officers were on patrol when they heard gunshot in the 400 block of Light Street.

Officers responded to the area and observed a large crowd gathered. A 16-year-old boy was located with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Approximately 10 minutes later, around 10 p.m., a citizen approached officers and informed them she noticed a man in distress while she was driving. Officers then located a 28-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

Both victims were transported to an area hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries.

Central District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
