The Baltimore Police Department updated the public July 19 about a homicide that took place on the 800 block of W. Lexington Street the day before.
According to a press release, the victim of the fatal shooting was 45-year-old Donta Sampson.
As of Monday, there have been 189 homicides in Baltimore in 2021.
