Homicide Victim Found After Crash on I-83

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northern District.

On Jul 22, 2025, Baltimore Police Homicide detectives were notified by Maryland State Police of a homicide victim located deceased in a vehicle following a single-vehicle crash on northbound I-83 near the Ruxton Road exit on Jul 19, 2025.

The victim was identified as Travon Booth (B/M, D.O.B. 02/12/1982).

The victim was transported to the medical examiner’s office, where the death was ruled a homicide due to multiple blunt force injuries.

Detectives determined that events leading up to the incident originated in the 1100 block of West Northern Parkway.

On July 23, deceives arrested 29-year-old Tyler Liggins. He was charged with first and second-degree assault and second-degree murder.
