Homicide Investigation Underway Following Shooting on West Franklin Street

On May 22, at approximately 11:42 p.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2300 block of West Franklin Street for a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, officers located 52-year-old Eric Jennings suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.
