Homicide Detectives Notified Following Shooting on West Patapsco Avenue

On June 28, at approximately 8:57 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2600 block of West Patapsco Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 38-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound. Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital to receive treatment for his injury.

Southern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation. Due to the victim’s condition, homicide has been notified.
