Homicide Detectives Looking for Suspect Who Pushed Man on Subway Tracks

On April 12, at approximately 5:38 p.m., homicide detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the subway station at Port Discovery located on the 600 block of East Baltimore Street to investigate an unresponsive male who had fallen onto the subway tracks.

Upon arrival, detectives found Baltimore City medics rendering aid to 28-year-old Christopher Foster. Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was standing near the edge of the platform when an unidentified male pushed him from behind, causing him to fall onto tracks, thus electrocuting him. 

The unidentified male fled the scene to an unknown destination.
