Homicide Detectives Launch Investigation into Maisel Court Fatal Shooting

On March 22, at approximately 4:59 p.m., Southern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2400 block of Maisel Court to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon further investigation, officers located 26-year-old De’Angelo Carter with a life-threatening gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported by medics to Shock Trauma for treatment where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
