Homicide Detectives Investigate Fatal Westfield Avenue Shooting

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Northeast District.

On July 2, at approximately 11:11 p.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 3000 block of Westfield Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Officers located an adult male suffering from an apparent life-threatening gunshot wound.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital, where he later died.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the incident.
