Fielding Bame, 41, will return to Baltimore City Circuit Court July 21 for a second jury trial.

The jury in his previous trial was unable to reach a consensus on March 27 following deliberations that quickly became heated. Judge Kimberly C. McBride ultimately declared a hung jury and dismissed the panel.

Bame is charged with second-degree murder and intent to injure with a dangerous weapon in connection to the July 12, 2024, fatal stabbing of 48-year-old D’Ondre Quickley on the 100 block of N. Front Street.

Bame’s July trial is set to last four days before Judge Paul J. Cucuzzella.
