On April 5, a jury read its guilty verdict to Michael Harvey before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gregory Sampson.
Harvey, 47, represented by defense attorney Jason Ott, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder, conspiracy to use a firearm in a felony violent crime, two counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and giving a false statement to a police officer.
A motion for a judgment of acquittal was granted for a third count of attempted first-degree murder and a third count of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder. Harvey was found not guilty of having a handgun in a vehicle.
According to previous reports, on Dec. 12, 2021, Baltimore Police Department (BPD) officers responded to the 600 block of Laurens Street for reports of a shooting. Aaron Adams, 29, was pronounced dead at the scene, while three other victims were sent to the hospital.
Harvey’s sentencing date is set for June 26.
