A 42-year-old convicted homicide defendant’s probation violation hearing was postponed on April 5 pending the ruling in another case in Pennsylvania.
Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Jeannie Hong was informed of a pending case against James Pulley in Pennsylvania during Wednesday’s proceeding. The judge agreed to postpone the hearing until an outcome is reached in the other case.
Pulley accepted a guilty plea of life for first-degree murder and a concurrent 20 years for the use of a handgun in the commission of a crime in May 1998. An appeal was filed and denied in 2009, the Maryland Judiciary website states.
