Baltimore Witness now offers a new way for readers to track developments in homicide cases, making finding out information on the cases you want to follow easy and hassle-free. To receive notifications, your will need to register one of two ways:
- By putting down your name and email address, or
- Entering your mobile phone number to receive an activation link via text message.
This is a totally free service.
Once you have registered and selected the cases you want to follow, you will receive notifications via text and/or email when there is a new post or a new court appearance added to the Timeline of any of the cases you are following. Daily notifications are sent once per day at around 9:00 am and Weekly Digests are sent on Fridays.
To register for alerts via email, click the Email Registration tab above to create a profile. Enter your Username, Password, Email Address, First and Last Name then click the Submit button. You will receive a confirmation email at the address you entered. When you click the Activation link in that email message, your account will be activated and you will be prompted to log in using the Username (or email address) and Password you selected when registering.
Alternatively, you can register and log in by entering your mobile phone number. Click the link you will receive via text to log in.
After logging in, you can modify your alert settings and select the cases you would like to follow.
Baltimore Witness will not sell or give your information to any entity, including the government and law enforcement except by court order.
