The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southwest District.
On June 13, at approximately 12:13 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers responded to an area hospital regarding a walk-in shooting victim.
Officers located a 23-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Despite lifesaving measures, he was later pronounced deceased.
Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 1500 block of W. Fayette Street, where a crime scene was located.
