Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Dana M. Middleton set the trial date for an April homicide defendant.

Nathan Brown is charged with first-degree murder, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime and possession of a firearm with a felony conviction in connection to an April 6 murder.

The prosecutor in the case had no offer due to the continuing investigation.

Judge Middleton scheduled the four-day trial to begin on Jan. 9, 2024, as a backup case before Judge Jeannie J. Hong. Brown, 36, will be represented by Benjamin Charlton, as he was today.
