In reference to the homicide and double shooting that occurred Nov. 13, 2025 in Federal Hill, detectives have arrested 24-year-old Warren Avery Mackey of Baltimore.
Mackey was arrested in connection to the fatal shooting of 37-year-old Kennard Miller and the attempted murder of a 35-year-old man on the 1100 block of Marshall Street. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment, where Miller was later pronounced deceased despite medical efforts.
On Jan. 5, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Mackey without incident in Catonsville, on the 6400 block of Baltimore National Pike. Mackey was taken to the Central Booking & Intake Facility, where he was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
