On March 4, at approximately 11:20 p.m., patrol officers from the Southwest District responded to a report of a hit-and-run involving a pedestrian in the 100 block of South Hilton Street.
Upon arrival, officers located an unidentified adult female with serious injuries. The vehicle or vehicles involved in the incident were not at the scene.
Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The Accident Investigation Unit (AIU) detectives are currently investigating this incident.
