On April 10, at approximately 5:20 p.m., Northern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to a home in the 1000 block of Dartmouth Road for a cutting.
Upon arrival, officers located 44-year-old Damiane Edwards who was suffering from stab wounds. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital where despite the doctor’s effort, he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
The suspect, a 22-year-old male acquaintance of the victim, was arrested a short time later. That suspect was transported to the Homicide Section where he is currently being interviewed and pending charges.
