In an update to a Jan. 26 Southwest District shooting, the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced the death of 19-year-old Lamel Edwards.
Edwards was shot at approximately 9:58 p.m. in the 3700 block of Edmondson Avenue.
Medics transported him to an area hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries the same day.
