On March 13, at approximately 8:19 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the 1500 block of East 28th Street to investigate a reported shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers located 26-year-old Martinez Brown victim, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced dead a short time later at the hospital.
