Eastern District Detectives Seeking Information in Normal Avenue Shooting

On April 21, at approximately 5:13 p.m., Eastern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 1600 block of Normal Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

When officers arrived, they located a 23-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics and is listed in critical condition.

Eastern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Eastern District shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.
