Eastern District Detectives Respond to Non-Fatal Shooting of Teen

On Sept. 18, at approximately 9:31 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers responded to the 2800 block of Edison Highway in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Once in the area, Baltimore Police Department officers canvassed the location and found an 18-year-old male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound on the 3200 block of Belair Road.

The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot while on the 3000 block of Mayfield Avenue by an unidentified suspect.
