Eastern District Detectives Make Arrest in East Preston Street Non-Fatal Shooting Case

On July 28, at approximately 1:00 p.m., the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force members arrested 19-year-old Tyresse Flemming of Baltimore on the 700 block of Villager Circle in Baltimore County.

Detectives believe that Flemming shot a 42-year-old male on July 20, on the 5000 block of East Preston Street.

Detectives transported Flemming to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and various handgun violations.

On the day of the incident, at approximately 6:39 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of East Preston Street to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 42-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he’s receiving treatment for his injury.

Eastern District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation.
