Eastern District Detectives Launch Investigation into Normal Avenue Shooting

On April 13, at approximately 6:20 p.m., Eastern District detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1700 block of Normal Avenue to investigate a reported cutting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 23-year-old male suffering from a serious gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to an area hospital to be treated for his injuries.

Eastern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
