Double Shooting on E. Pratt Street, Left a 17-year-old Male Teen Dead

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a shooting in the evening on May 28. 

According to a news release, officers were working in the downtown area around 7:34 p.m. when they heard shots fired coming from the 300 block of E. Pratt Street, where they found a 17-year-old woman and 17-year-old Neal Mack suffering from a gunshot to the chest. 

Both victims were taken to an area hospital, where they were immediately taken to surgery. The 17-year-old female victim is in a stable but serious condition while 17-year-old Mack has succumbed to his injuries at Shock Trauma. 

Homicide detectives are now investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2100 or call Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7lockup.
