On Dec. 2, at approximately 3:00 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers were patrolling the area of Edmondson Avenue and Wildwood Parkway when they were flagged down to a bus stop on the 4000 block of Edmondson Avenue.
Once at the location, officers located 69-year-old Anton Kancir suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the face. The victim was pronounced deceased a short time later at the hospital.
