Detectives Open Investigation into Shooting of 19-Year-Old on North Clifton Avenue

On April 23, at approximately 2:57 p.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1500 block of North Clifton Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Once at the location, officers located a 19-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the torso. The victim was transported to an area hospital by a medic and listed in stable condition.

Western District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Western District shooting detectives at 410-396-2477.
