Detectives Open Investigation into Northeast District Non-Fatal Shooting

On May 31, at approximately 4:13 p.m., officers responded to the 4200 block of Powell Avenue to investigate a call for a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers located a 31-year-old male on the 4200 block of Parkmount Avenue suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injury.

Northeast District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
