On May 9, at approximately 10:18 p.m., Southwest District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area hospital for a report of a walk-in shooting victim.
Upon arrival, officers observed a 33-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his right leg.
Further investigation revealed that the incident possibly occurred near 5th Street and East Patapsco Avenue in South Baltimore.
Southern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control of this investigation.
