Detectives Look for Answers in Shooting of 16-Year-Old on Carver Road

On April 19, at approximately 7:57 p.m., Southern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2600 block of Carver Road to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 16-year-old male suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported by medics to an area hospital in critical condition.

Southern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

Due to the severity of the victim’s injuries, homicide has been notified.
