Detectives Launch Investigation into Triple Shooting on McElderry Street

On April 6, at approximately 2:59 p.m., Southeast District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 3100 block of McElderry Street for discharging.

Upon arrival, officers observed three individual’s, ages 9, 20, and 28, all of whom were suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims have been transported to area hospitals by medics to be treated for their injuries. 

The 9-year-old sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot would to her ankle, the 20-year-old sustained gunshot wounds to her torso and is in surgery and in critical condition, while the 28-year-old male sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.

Southeast District detectives responded and have assumed control of the investigation.
