Detectives Launch Investigation into Plum Street Shooting Homicide

On June 11, at approximately 11:22 a.m., Southern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1600 block of Plum Street for a reported shooting investigation.

Once at the location, officers located 40-year-old Kenneth Banks suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the chest and head. Medics responded and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.

The BPD later updated the shooting location to be on the 4100 block of Grace Court.
