On Aug. 16, at approximately 11:02 p.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to the 1000 block of West Baltimore Street, for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located 24-year-old Nykiah Imani Collins, unresponsive, with an apparent gunshot wound.
Medics responded to the location and pronounced Collins dead on the scene.
