Detectives Launch Investigation into Belair Road Non-Fatal Shooting

On July 11, at approximately 9:29 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were dispatched to the 3200 block of Belair Road to investigate ShotSpotter alerts.

Once at the location, officers located a 23-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left leg. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was standing on the 3200 block of Belair Road when he was shot by an unidentified suspect.
