Western District detectives are investigating the shooting of a 21-year-old man on April 27.

According to a press release, officers from the Baltimore Police Department were called to the 100 block of North Payson Street around 9:35 p.m. for a shooting where they found a man, who was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Due to the man’s injuries, detectives who are focused on shootings along with homicide detectives are investigating the incident.
