Detectives Investigate Shooting in Eastern District

Baltimore Police Department detectives are investigating a non-fatal shooting incident that occurred on Aug. 19. 

According to a press release, officers responded to the 2100 block of McElderry Street to investigate a Shot Spotter alert. They did not find a victim.

However, some time later, officers were alerted of a victim who walked into an area hospital suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body.

The victim, a 40-year-old male, is in stable condition.
