Detectives Investigate After Man Dies to Trauma Wounds in Southeast Baltimore

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) announced a homicide investigation in the Southeast District.

On Oct. 10, at approximately 3:28 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to a home in the 6100 block of Fortview Way for a report of an unresponsive person.

Upon arrival, officers located a 44-year-old male, who was pronounced deceased on the scene. The victim was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, where, on Oct. 12, his death was ruled a homicide caused by trauma to the body.

Homicide detectives are actively investigating the case.
