In reference to the shooting that occurred in the Southern District on July 10, Baltimore Police Department investigators have arrested 24-year-old Christopher Holland of Baltimore.
Detectives learned Holland shot the 26-year-old male victim multiple times after breaking into a home on the 1200 block of Sargeant Street. Detectives believe the motive for this shooting was domestic-related.
On July 16, 2024, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Christopher Holland and transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility where he was charged with attempted first-degree murder.

On July 10, at approximately 9:58 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 1200 block of Sargeant Street for a report of a shooting.
Once there, officers located a 26-year-old male, inside of a home, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
