A Baltimore man’s case was not heard July 25 because he needed to pick a public defense attorney to represent him before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
Isaac Forell, 38, is charged with first and second-degree murder in connection to an incident Sept. 12, 2021.
Forrell pleaded guilty in 2006 of carrying/wearing a handgun on person. He received a sentence of 5 years that began in 2005.
He also pleaded guilty in 2003 for armed robbery. He received a sentence of 5 years in prison, suspending 4 years, 2 months and 17 days, and three years on supervised probation. However, in 2006 he violated probation and was sentenced to the suspended time. The sentence started in 2005.
Forrell is scheduled to go back to reception court on Nov. 3.
